About The Founder
Jonathan Muteba, M.Eng
Founder & Compliance and Operations Consultant
Jonathan Muteba, M.Eng, is the founder of Brilla Life Sciences, specializing in compliance, operations, and technical leadership for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. With over 11 years of hands-on experience at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Moderna, Takeda, Regeneron, and Amgen, Jonathan has executed across quality assurance, quality control, validation, commissioning, and engineering—from qualifying cleanrooms and leading Capex projects to managing cross-functional teams and overseeing shutdown operations.
He holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University, a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and an Engineering Leadership Certificate from the Gordon Institute. Jonathan founded Brilla to help companies solve complex compliance and operational challenges with a combination of technical depth, systems thinking, and measurable results.
When he's not solving compliance challenges, Jonathan is a competitive Spartan racer and Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor, and is working toward establishing biotech training programs that create opportunities for underrepresented communities.
